General Information
It has now been four years since the war in Yemen began, and for the last 3 years it has internationalised with the intervention by the Saudi-Emirati led coalition and Iranian involvement. The situation in Yemen is horrific. 22.2 million People need urgent humanitarian assistance including 11 million children, 3.1 million People have been displaced since the start of the war and 2,014,026 people are currently internally displaced.
As representatives of our people, we, Parliamentarians, therefore have a vital role to play in stopping this conflict. On November 8, at the National Assembly of France in Paris, we will hold the Inaugural joint Parliamentary meeting for peace in Yemen.
